This is an awesome feature at Disneyland! 

 

Regular Fast Pass

Fast passes are available for most major rides. Ex. Space Mountain, Indiana Jones, Star Tours, etc. If there is a long line expected for the day, most likely there is a fast pass option available. If you are questioning it, just ask any cast member about it, and they will let you know exactly where it is. All you have to do is slide your pass and you will receive a ticket for certain time to come back to enjoy the ride. Do Not Lose it! lol Due to new changes, you can't get a new fast pass, unless you already rode your ride, and ready for next one. [it used to be one fast pass, per person, per hour - not anymore]

Parent's Pass

This is an awesome feature for Parents! A Life Saver! If you have kids who can't go on a ride, you can always ask a cast member for a Parent's Pass. Most of the time, they will ask to show a kid who can not enter the ride and who needs the pass next. This is the way it works... You ask the entrance cast member for a parent's pass, once you have it enjoy the ride, and once you exit the ride, you can give the pass to your other half, and they can enjoy the ride skipping the whole line and just going straight to the front! :)

Max Pass

This pass is coming soon to Disneyland. You will be able to purchase this on Disney app for $10. It will allow you to access fast passes and store them on your phone, instead of going to get them physically by the rides entrances/exits.

FYI, you can combine both passes for faster visit through Disneyland. For example, I like to grab a fast pass for Space Mountain for myself, while my husband grabs a fast pass for Thunder Mountain for himself. When we enter our rides, we ask for parent's pass. After we are done with the ride, we switch parent's passes! This way we knock out many more rides a day :)
