10 Places to visit in San Diego

I feel like I have to create this post, because quite a few of my friends have gone to San Diego and La Jolla, and have not done many of these things and missed out! A Lot!

My First very import tip is, lately San Diego has been doing Kids Enter Free in October! So if you are planning to go visit that month, double check if that promotion is still available! Places like Sea World, Lego Land, etc.

Below is our video on our visit there!

1. If you are in San Diego, you got to go to Coronado Island! Awesome Historic Hotel, and beautiful calm beach! Street parking, unless you want to pay small fortune for valet hahaha...

2. Waterfront Park - Great park for kids! Seriously! Bring a swim suits for kids and towels!

3. I don't really want to mention Sea World, San Diego Zoo, or Wild Animal Park. I feel like these are just Daahhh... place :)

4. We found out about this place last time, Belmot Park! This is like a carnival type of place. Bumper cars, climbing walls, small roller coasters, etc.

5. Then up to La Jolla we go, please take La Jolla Blvd. It is one beautiful road that will give you behind the scenes for the feel of the city!

6. Once you are in La Jolla and walking by the beach, definitely make sure that you visit The Cave Store! It's a small funky store, but if you pay $5 for entrance, you get to walk down into the cave down pretty steep steps, into this cool cave where the waves just splash and you are submerged into the ocean sounds! One really cool experience!

7. Definitely! Stop by La Jolla's Secret Swings!

Directions: From Torrey Pines Rd, turn left onto La Jolla Shores Drive. After about 1/4 of a mile down start to look for parking preferably near UCSD Coastal Apartments. Once parked walk along the UCSD apartments until you see Discovery way. Make a left at Discovery where you will then cross the street. You will see 3 metal poles. Once you pass those if you look to the right you will see the tree swings overlooking La Jolla.

8. Once you are back to San Diego, make sure you visit Botanical Building in Balboa Park!

The whole area has many different cool museums, and just entails a gorgeous walks around.

9. While at the Balboa Park, please make sure to stop by The Spanish Village Art Center! It is just so beautiful and old fashioned! I can't even describe what you will see there, it's just really cool spot!

10. Of course, you will have to walk around the Historic Gaslamp District in San Diego Down Town area, and maybe even catch a trolley!

Extra! Lastly, stop by Little Italy! Super sweet spot for a romantic dinner!
